I graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 1987 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and my choice was based on my SPM results and not on what I had wanted to pursue in the future.  In those those days, the most popular careers where either accountancy, medicine or engineering but since I didn't enjoy figures and couldn't stand the sight of blood, engineering was my final choice...… I never thought of business, management and education as a career then.

I started my career with Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) where I was involved with multi-million-dollar Power Generation Projects in Malaysia and Indonesia. I held roles from Project Engineer, Site Material Manager and Project Scheduler. Working with diverse team members from Malaysia, Indonesia, Switzerland, Germany, France and England, I developed a very in-depth knowledge of the working styles and culture from my colleagues.

After leaving ABB, I ventured into the facilities management industry and worked in the Renong group in one of their subsidiaries in business development and finally as Facilities Manager for the Vista Komanwel condominium project in Bukit Jalil.  I also took the initiative to pursue my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Universiti Putra Malaysia.

In 1999, I entered the IT and Telecommunication Industry working with renown corporations like Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies, Datacraft, Getronics, Sun Microsystems, Oracle Systems, Huawei Malaysia and Accenture.

Holding various roles like Project Director, Sales Director, Business Development, Senior Sales Director and Director of Strategic Engagements, I have managed to strengthen my skills in relationship building, strong interpersonal & communication and the ability to adapt to change when required.
